A cheese and wine pairing at Rapture Lounge in Astoria, we've done several tastings over the past 3 or 4 years, this time we had a big turnout in spite of the torrential rain. We had spanish, dutch, french and american cheeses and must have plated close to 80, needless to say the everyone ordered more wine and cocktails and it turned into a cheesy party. If you would like to introduce a cheese plate on your menu this is the way to get a feel for what cheeses will work with your clientele.
